Hi, I recently found NERSCCA through NASA/MotorsportsNE. I signed up for an autocross event through the online system, but didn't find the equivalent system for rallycross, which I'd really like to try out. Can someone point me to the right place or in...

After discussions among the rallycross staff and other concerned parties, the rules have been amended as follows:
1.  All cars to be tech'd by solo tech on Saturday and again on Sunday by the rally tech.
2.  All runs count for a 4 run cumulative time.

I didn't look at this entire thread, but these are the rules that Warren and I agreed on:

1.  All cars to be tech'd by solo tech on Saturday and again on Sunday by the rally tech.
2.  All runs count for a 4 run cumulative time.
3.  Tires the only chang...

rally200sx makes an interesting suggestion, but I dont feel that was Warren's intent for this event.  One car, dual purpose.  Warren, please correct me if I am incorrect.

I feel that we should promote safety and encourage our partipants to make their c...

OK, I spoke to Kathy Moody and Scott Beliveau and will be in contact with the other involved organizers to hash out some procedures and rules. I expect that some compromises will need to be made all the way around.
Thanks.

I understand the safety issues involved. It may be too late in the game but, if I may suggest the following:

20 entries - 10 AutoX cars & 10 RallyX cars (or you could do 40 entries 20 & 20 - 40 runs total for each location same as previous and more $ f...

Kat, your car is higher than stock, but you also have a flat boxer engine and the cg of your car is fairly low to begin with.  If you put Rcomps on your car, the potential for rolling would be higher than with Street tires.  If you lower your car with ...

Then if that is the case, how is allowing height changes going to help make it safer, if the concern is the ra...

Who is in charge of this decision, that is a tough question.  The event organizer is.  The SCCA Solo rulebook and RallyX rulebook should have a say as does the insurance sanction.  We should all have a say as any incidents that may happen will affect o...

Why prohibit a competitor from making the car safer, or able to compete, if the competitor wants to?  All of the Solo cars that are prepared to ST, SP, P or M are too low to do the rallyX without bottoming out.  Most of those cars have coilovers and co...
