I was wandering around the lotus talk forum and I ran across these videos:

They are cool, not just because of the car (which is not a lotus by the way... anyone here who can guess it? Smiley ), but also because of the 300fps slow-motion... It would be really cool if someone brought one of these to our events. It would likely be very revealing/helpful to see shots like this...

I did note that the classing letters don't appear to be a standard SCCA class, so this is probably some other club's designation...

cool videos but the slo-mo kinda ruins it for me. i like full speed videos better. i do believe that is noble. correct me if i am wrong but i think we had one of these at a devens or NHMS event?

Yup Smiley Driven by Randy Chase, who runs the Lotus Talk Forums Smiley.... (and humorously no longer owns a lotus).

And now here's the other one (which I held back because of the hint in the tags) http://www.vimeo.com/6251843

For entertainment I like full speed too, but for analyzing the run through an element, slow mo is obviously better. No need to guess how close he came to the pylon...

Heh, now that would be cool to see Smiley... but definately not an event I was at last year (unless I was totally oblivious, which is not unthinkable of course...)
