Tongue With my modified on hold I've gone back to my CRX but I'm unsure of what class it would run in due to the 6-point roll cage...

Beyond that the car is clearly modified for STS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated of course.

Does the car have an interior?  How was the interior modified to fit the cage in there? Where are the 6-points of the cage mounted to?  I'm not sure the exact rules, but I'm sure those answers will matter.

Car is spartan to say the least.

Bars connect at the A-pillars, B-pillars and run back to the rear shock towers.

My initial guess is that you'd end up in SSM or P. I assume the cage is welded in? Your best bet is to read through the rulebook until you find thge lowest class allowing a weld in cage and stripped interior.

I don't think the SM classes allow interior stripping, though I may be wrong.  I'd venture your into Prepared territory.

SM doesn't allow it, or else we'd do it Smiley

What engine work do you have done? You would be EP or XP.

No engine work lol. This is my hillclimb car (hence the cage). Yes it's all welded and stitched in.

I have intake, header and exhaust and that's it. Not looking to be competitive but I don't want to class myself incorrectly and irritate somebody. I was fairly sure I would be in prepared.

I was planning on running the engine as is this season and then adding a snail to it for 2011, maybe I'll revise those plans.

With no engine work I would say you are in EP.  Now time to look at the rule book/pdf and make sure you are good to go.

It would appear EP is where I'm at. Serious competition but I'll have fun no matter what!
