You do not want steel wheel's for rallyx. They have been know to crack or pull the center out. LOR

for the price of steelies i think they work just fine. I have run them  for years and have been very competitive on them along with plenty of other drivers running them. Never had an issue not even a bent rim. It's  cheaper to find a set of steelies and  replace one rim later on if needed with another steelie.

Steel or aluminum alloy wheels are both subject to fatigue and failure.  Aluminum alloy wheels have an advantage in strength to weight over the steel wheels, so IF the wheels are the same weight, the alloy wheel will be stronger.

Hey Bubby,,Nice vid,,,You drove well last Sat.,,maybe alittle to much steering input,,but well played sir.!!
I too, would like to see alittle snow,,,maybe some time this winter!
If you go to T&T try some alignment changes,,and less steering,,,Left foot works well also,,if used properly,,,for steering/wieght transfer.Good luck.

steel wheels are much easier to fix if they do bend or crack (at least for me since I do not have the equipment to bend or weld Al), and they are pretty darn tough.

Wonder B,  I beg to differ, If you scribe the rear toe adjs. that's easy to return,,The fronts alittle trickey tho. You simply/accurately count half turns till you return to were you started. Maybe be a tick off,,,but I've been doing this for three years.(now, I just use my eye,and run it a couple of miles to check) Only wore two street tires out,,?  because I forgot to re adj. rear before an 4 hour trip to Maine . Undecided
Tryin to help Bubby out,,I've found it does pay dividends sometimes,,,
be ware tho,,,,easy to " jump the shark",,,,,
Hope your T&T goes well.

PS. Kudos to Kristina on an impressive 4th at NED  well done ! with Zero cones
