Let's all co-ordinate this year so we've got a reasonable sized space somewhere decent. I think we should co-ordinate who's going to save spots for who and those who show up later should be aware that you will have a spot reserved. If something changes the day of that affects saving a spot, we'll make sure we contact you so you know what's up.

Chris and I will be there for the Pro when the gates open and we'll reserve 2 extra spots each. That gives us 4 spots. PJ and Dave will be arriving late that night, Chang and company will probably get there hours before Chris and I do, so there's about 45 more spots Smiley.

Anyway, I think that we should be able to easily have enough room for everyone to paddock together. Who's bringing a barbeque?

Hey, someone bring a grill and we'll get some buns/burgers/chips. I should be able to cook on Tues/Wed. Who can cook on Thurs/Fri?

Mike, you know that we aren't getting permanent spots for the pro finale, right? Unless something changed that I haven't heard of.

You misread the memo. You have temporary parking for the time between 10AM and 1:30PM Thursday. But since the latest email said something about the site not opening up until 10AM, I'm not sure that matters anymore.

Quote
Reminder to all competitors that access to the site will begin at 10am Thursday for ProSolo competition only.  Anyone accessing the site at that time will have a TEMPORARY parking spot for the practice event only and will be required to relocate to their permanent parking spot by 6pm.  Permanent spots will be assigned by Phil Osborne and his crew at the registration bldg beginning at 10am however permanent assigned parking is not available until 1:30 pm on Thursday

Kathy said something to me about a NER compound on the asphalt near where I was the first year in HPT.

So I read the memo's again. The site opens on Thursday the 11th at 1:30pm for the Solo nationals competitors. For Pro Solo competitors, teh site still opens at 10am. We get a temporary paddock space which we must vacate by 6pm on the 11th. At 1:30pm on Thursday, we can come back to the COP and get a permanent space. A bit of an annoyance, but whatever. Kathy, word on that NER Compound?

When I mentioned it at RAL - folks said either - we don't want to be in the back (I do! - better to hide) or we'll be there on Thursday anyway.  So here is the list:  TinaBrianPaul, Chang&Gang, MikeChris, DavePJ, Stacey, Bud/Lynn, Nate.  Also should save a space for Barb.  I have asked for J.

Anybody who does not have NER stickers on their car will be in trouble.  We will have spares in the van.

I'll be there Wednesday afternoon and will pass along info.

Kathy probably already knows this but...
20' van, 30' trailer, 2 race cars and 2 rental cars in my compound.

In other words, Chang needs about a 1/4 of Kansas.   Cheesy

22ft trailer, 20 ft truck. but I don't see a need to leave an open trailer there so I'm planning on it going to VIP parking.

And BTW, Chris and I had a lovely paddock spot all the way in the back last year. We got to watch the welder get stuck in the mud and pulled out (and then almost get stuck again). Free wifi too until the motorhome locked it down Sad

I am hoping to have two 10x10 ez up type canopies and hope to use the trailer as a tie down point on one side and tool boxes/coolers/wheels as tie down points on the other side.
