They're letting people camp out at the fair grounds, which is what I'm going to do. I'll be travelling up friday afternoon and staying over that evening. Are fires allowed?  |

I won't be sleeping in the back of the Jeep this year...that was somewhat uncomfortable. Perhaps the back of the truck... I can't remember if we had a fire last year or not...we did sit around talking till quite late...so I would imagine that we had a fire.  |

Just FYI, temps are already close to freezing at night in Augusta, and may be colder out in the boonies. Bring warm layers!
Unfortunately I doubt I can make this event, even though it's a lot closer to me. Conflicting plans with the girlfriend and all. (I'd bring her, but this is something she's planned to do for months...)

We had a fire last year. Bring your own firewood. No cutting down trees or buildings! Definitely bring layers of warm clothes but it wasn't frigid. Then again, I did have the heat on in the RV.  |
