Have you thought about the annual meeting?

No, why not!

It's your club, you should go.  Bring a buddy, meet the crowd!

Plan to be safe, to be safe!

Hey Scott:

It's hard for people to plan to go to an event that hasn't been announced.  WHEN is the annual meeting scheduled and WHERE is it going to be?  It would be great to have a lot of people turn out for this event, it is always fun.

I agree with Leigh, I got an idea that it might be in Marlboro but that is from someone that has just moved to the area.
When do the chiefs get to find out?

I am new to the region, but have been with SCCA since 1987 and plan to be there and meet all you new people. I just want to know why we are not racing? There is no white stuff on the ground yet. Us people from Southern California raced in the snow or while it snowed. You just go a little slower. I have to find my pictures of a GT1 in the white stuff or an Atlantic.

Well Bob first off welcome to New England. Over the years we have had schedules that ran as late as October 30 at New Hampshire. Sometimes we got in a good event but if it rains that time of the year it gets pretty miserable. The club has been able to work the dates available over the years to get our event into months with more reliable weather although we had some flurries at out last April event.

Well actually we do race in the snow, just not on the track where Dick likes to keep his RX7, we have a very strong RallyCross and RoadRally program here, unfortunately SCCA chickened out of ProRally, or we would be busy there too. With the running of Team O'Neil, New England Forest Rallies we are busy all year long.

I've seen Dick actually rallycross an RX-7 before. On purpose.

But wasn't that a different RX7 than the funny blue one.
I beg to be forgiven I do remember him running a RallyCross.

I wonder if even Dick knows the answer to that question.

Yes that was a different RX7. It was a $200 parts car and I got a nicer trophy than I ever got from my substantially higher investment in racing. Cry
