dunno...its close but I don't know if it will be done in time...I keep thinking I'll have it done for this event or that event...but as usual with builds, things always end up more complicated than planned...

You've got a couple days left to get your entry in for NEFR before the prices go up.   Get-R-Dun!!!!!   $500 entry fee for both days is cheap for a rally of that level.

Alan and I will be debuting the X-Ratti there.  MaxAttack! time.    Grin

Yeah, I wish...not in the cards this year...not quite finished, not log booked, no testing on it, etc. equates to a recipe for failure.  Once its done and booked then it will go through a few weekends of testing and then out to Rallycross events and NE Hillclimb events before making its way to a full stage rally...

Is this going to be a DoubleX weekend? Will it be at the dogtrack or a new venue?

I'd be better to let Chris or someone who actually knows the facts explain, but here's what I understand thus far:

Friday - Sunday August 5-7 is RAL weekend with a TSD rally on Friday, the DoubleX Solo event on Saturday afternoon (at NHMS) with the rallycross runs on Sunday morning at the Dog Track, with our regular rallycross event happening immediately after.

So now the real events begin in earnest.  After participating in SCCA RallyCross events in 2010 and finishing in 2nd place for the year in the New England "Prepared RWD" class and since undergoing a significant transformation including Stage Rally compliant roll cage, long travel suspension, etc. and is now ready for its next phase of racing.
So it is off to the first full Hillclimb event of 2011 for the Nissan Frontier that is Project Retro-Runner this weekend at Okemo Mountain in Ludlow, VT.
For the rest of the info for Retro-Runner's initial foray:

Good luck!  And, though this goes against what I would normally say to a rig like that, keep it on pavement.

Im sure that truck will feel right at home at the dog track.... that thing is going to be a beast there.  I'll be doing New England Rally with Mike that weekend, but I can't wait to see that thing in person.
