At the end of Day 1, NER has thrown the gauntlet down and is doing a good job making us proud. Hal had a clean, fast day and is leading M2 by 1.7s. Out of 23 cars, Chang is in 7th place and Kim is sitting in 16th. Down but not out. First place in M4 is the Old Man himself in a DMS. 4.7s faster than the 2nd place! Finish 'em Warren! Scott picked up a couple of orange things and is in 9th at the end of the day. Little bit of pressure on Mr. Kangas to smooth things out tomorrow. He's in 6th tonight, about 13s down. Maybe he needs to adjust the toe in the subie. Finally, in PA, Alex is beating the snot out of Nikki's car and is only about 6s and 3 places behind first. It's a tight group and easily overcome tomorrow. Nikki has his work cut out for him. No more cones! Tomorrow will be a different course and anything can happen. Good job so far and keep it up! Awesome job by all! You've made us proud. Way to go Warren! Only took a few tries, but now you are the undisputed Lord of M4! Although, maybe we should start calling you Lord of the 3-stars now. Is the Terminator going to be up for sale soon? Have a safe trip home and looking forward to some stories. |
