Hey everyone,

I just moved to Boston a couple months ago and Im in need of my motorsports fix.

I moved from Idar-Oberstein, Germany, and lived in South Carolina before that. While in Boston, my car (In SC) was stolen, crashed into a wall and burnt to the ground...So i never got to go bring it back from SC.

Ive been autocrossing for about 5 years and have been competing in PRO class for 2. Ive competed in the Texas National Tour and Dixie Tour. I placed 2nd in an S2000 and 12th in a Porsche Cayman (on shot tires)...

I have Autocrossed in the following cars:
  • Audi A4
    Audi S4
    BMW 135i
    BMW 325i
    BMW 335i
    BMW 318i
    BMW Z3
    Corvette Z06
    Dodge Neon SRT-4 (@400HP)
    Fiat X1/9
    Formula F125 (Biesse)
    Honda S2000
    Honda S2000 CR
    Lotus Elise
    MINI Cooper S
    MINI Cooper
    Mazdaspeed Miata
    Mazda Miata NB
    Mazda Miata NA
    Subaru WRX STi
    VW Rabbit (I think 79)
    Volvo V70R

I believe theres more but i cant come up with them right now.

Why am i bragging? Well, i dont mean to brag, i just want to give some a ccredidations before I tell you what im up to.

Im 21 years old, i only owned 3 of the cars on this list, I drove most of the others due to the owners request. I dont think im amazing, but people trust me in their cars.

Heres the deal, I havent driven a car in 3 months. Last time i drove it was in an Audi A4 on the Autobahn. Before that it was Cooper S on Nurburgring .

I need to drive.

I know the risk of letting someone drive your baby, and most of it is in tires. Im willing to pay a deposit or even just straight up pay for tire wear.

So if you want to help me out and let me dive your car at an event theres pretty much nothin to lose, except for your class trophy ;-)

If you transport him to and from the event, he can co-drive with me as 11 SSM if he's willing to kick in $15/run for tires/brakes etc.

On the plus side I'll have stickers Smiley

You are welcome to co-drive my car as well.  (But I defintely think you, of anyone for that matter, would be more inclined to take a co-drive in a Lotus on r-comps than a co-drive lowly civic on street tires Grin)

Chad,  We at NER haven't gotten a phone number to call you, but you have a number of people offering to either drive  you up Sunday, and a few others offering a car. Pre registration closes at 11:00 tonight.  Due to the circumstances, you can fill in a walk in registration at the gate with us if you call  Charlie  (earlier post to your thread) and get a ride in.  There are so many people who offered thru a private note  sent to those registered in the event, as well as from posts here. You have a car. Come to the event if you see this before Sunday.

You're welcome to co-drive my '92 NA miata... its no lotus, but its a solid car.
It's my first race, and given your experience, I'm sure you'll do less damage than I will Smiley

Greetings again!

difficult task to find a codrive before you meet the owner, but its not unheard of.
I wish you luck and hope to see you on course this season.

After i read that I thought "He's right, what was i thinking...", so i never came back to check out the post.

But now, i have a newly renewed license and I cant wait to use it!

If you transport him to and from the event, he can co-drive with me as 11 SSM if he's willing to kick in $15/run for tires/brakes etc.

On the plus side I'll have stickers Smiley

I really hope your offer still stands! I see theres an event this weekend, my Dad will be in town from Germany and I'm sure he would love to head out there with me.

Its quite a long trip, so if anyone would PLEASE give us (or at least me ;-) a ride it would be much appreciated, even if we don't drive at the event.

Thanks a bunch for the offers guys! Im really excited to join the crowd!

I saw him at an FCSCC event on the 21st of August.  If he hasn't been to the recent NER events it may be because he has the car apart installing a new LSD.  Thats just a guess though as he told me the LSD was due to arrive around the beginning of September.

He was at this past Sunday's event and was awesome enough to let me drive his car.  He offered me the seat to keep his tires warm again I just feel kind of like a dick registering to drive his car without getting a definite OK from him.

Looking for a short notice ride for this last event Smiley

A ride to the event would be awesome, but a ride AT the event would be ideal.

Thanks in advance!
