Hey everyone, I just discovered a cracked front wheel on the Teg, so I'm in need of a ride for the event this weekend. I'm not terribly picky, but something on r-comps preferred. Something with rwd, 400+ hp, and ginormous Hoosiers would be ideal.

Hey everyone - see note above about cracked wheel. I'm less fussy about what to drive.

I also need a ride. Scott and the miata will not be attending this event.
I'd prefer to drive something that has great gas mileage, low on hp, and is on street tires.
(I'm not joking)
Thanks, Eric Chiang
P.S. I inadvertently described a miata on street tires... but I meant econo-box. P.P.S - I'm not picky. If you have a competitive car... that's ok I guess.

If anyone is interested I'll bring up the MR2 (I'm driving Don's car), with whatever tires you want. The Hoosiers are pretty close to shot, but would survive the event, the Toyo R888s are terrible unless it is raining, and the Star Specs are woefully undersized, but kinda fun to drive on. Obviously it's not that competitive, but it's a car. -Bryan

I've got a seat available for a co-driver in the CRX. It's got low hp, great gas mileage, and some... well-aged (extra firm?) Hoosier A6's (also a stock steering rack, for those who might have been exposed to an even more vicious CRX on r-compounds). Anyone looking for a ride, lemme know.

There is always a seat in the Jetta Diesel if anyone is interested. Great fuel economy, low on horsepower, huge torque, and you have to shift... a lot!

I've found a ride (thanks for the offers everyone!) and will be driving the rental z06 this weekend (thanks Grant!). Not sure about the others though, so if you have a ride to offer, please let Cliff and Kathy know.

Since I've fixed my motor mount, the STX Mini is available. Cliff you can beat me in it if you like, but Kathy take it easy will ya - I have a fragile male ego...
Cheers,
Charlie

Everyone mentioned in this thread (except Cliff at the moment) is registered. If Cliff or anyone else is on the fence about coming, the weather is going to be a dry sunny 60 degree day, a great end to the season. We decided to reopen the on-line registration form and accept a few more drivers to even things out. If you are inclined, register here: http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/event.advert/uidEvent/88C8A718-F3BF-5139-14358072E9F16C9BThanks! Barbara - 2011 Chief of registration
