Latest report I'm looking at says maybe an inch of the white stuff tomorrow night, and the chance of 1-3 during the day on Saturday. Might be just enough to keep things interesting. Either that or this storms blows up and we get a foot.

i think unless we get a foot and the base is nice and frozen, all the white stuff will be blown off the course lol. we just got like 3" a few days ago and it melted the next day... the snow is fun, and i did pick up some hakkas, but i wanna go fast on that hard packed surface!!

I def second that sharkattack....i got a new set of Michelins and a newly ported turbo that would love some hard packed dirt to go fast on

Yeah, I agree most of it will probably blow away, but it might make a couple slick spots here or there. It will be interesting either way for sure.

Looks like there should be a good amount of snow for Saturday, last nights snow is till on the ground and more on it's way.
It's been a while since I've run a rallycross, what time is registration?

Car is gassed, emptied out, and tires inflated! I'm stoked for this weekend! Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow. I have the camera equipment packed up and ready to go. Nobody run me over and I'll try to get as many shots of cars as I can If anyone wants to take pictures while I'm racing and knows their way around a DSLR camera come see me before or directly after the pre-race meeting. After the event send me an email ( treksofar@gmail.com) with your car info and car number number and I'll send you pictures See you all tomorrow! Jon

I'll be attending Sunday but not Saturday. Don't feature driving the RWD truck through the storm so close to my next stage rally event and taking the chance on something stupid happening. Good luck and I'll see you all on Sunday! Oh and someone tell Scott to bring my plaque from the '10 season!! I've got to pick that up sometime!

What was the weather and how did the frozen course hold up today? Saturday's course was frozen solid all day.
Congrats to my friend Caleb who finished second in PF ['09 Civic - without studs] in his very first rallycross on Saturday.

The weather was great. We were down to gravel in many places for most runs, but they kept changing the course to mix up the gravel with fresh snowy bits as well to keep us on our toes. The last runs in the afternoon got caught out by previously thawed sections that froze and lost their grip. Thanks to everyone for a great time! I had a blast, regardless of my favorable finishing position. Also thanks to Chris for encouraging me to bring my Miata out to play at this relatively smooth site. It was well worth it.
