Sorry i created such a stir! I got sick (literally, lots of mold) of the musty old interior so i gutted the car except for the door panels and front seats. It actually handles, accelerates and stops better now, imagine that? I got a few go fast goodies (cam and race header) from a friend, but i know i'm not a fast enough driver yet, so i've got some learning ahead of me. It should be fun, i liked stock but snow tires in mud kinda closed the deal for me. See ya'll in Rochester, and happy Easter!

I don't think anyone wants to miss out on Rochester!

hopefully conditions will stay dry and the mud tires will stay off the terminator... The terminator has dominated over subaru's running on snow tires, and only 3 cylinders... how's that for Smack! see you guys up there. I am praying for dry weather too - I have had enough mud snow and 30 mph events

I had a DNF the day you guys one on 3 cyl. Which I think I got screwed on, can someone tell me the re run rule if my car breaks? Cuz when I broke my axle I was ready with another car within 5 min. And I got off the course without being towed... So I'd like to know the rule. Oh and then I beat you on Sunday Smack talk returned You guys are the ones to beat and that's what I aim for, I'm just havin fun and hyping up the competition!

Only time you get a rerun is when you get a flat tire and are red flagged. There is no rerun rule for if your car breaks....I was too late on the rules proposal to change that for this year....

I would vouch for that official rule change for next year - I actually always thought the rule was, if your car breaks down, you get ten minutes to get it going again and get a re-run, but you get the DNF if you can't run again in ten minutes. Guess not!

Guess not! We can't give re-runs if a car breaks. There are lots of legitimate failures, and it sucks to be DNF when your competign for trophies. but there is too much BS that can go on. Someone half way through a bad run can stop and say the car is broken, and then get a re-run. What is a broken car? A little down on power, maybe you missed a shift, popped out of gear, heard a missfire, and you got beat by 3 seconds? It's too difficult to police and just opens up a bunch of BS. If it breaks on a run, and you can't finish the course you get a DNF. If you finish the run and your car is "broken" and you can't make another run in the proper run order you get 10 minutes to fix it, or find a replacment car. You only get a re-run if the car is deemed unsafe to continue due to a tire debead, or serious safety problem, and you get red flagged. At nationals they red flag you for a tire debead, and then you do not get a re-run. Personally I feel this is BS, and I like that NER has a re-run for a flat.
