Where do the NER tech folks prefer to have the car weight stickers located?  I was planning to put the class designated weight numbers on the passenger side windshield up by the car's roofline but if a different location is better then I will locate the stickers in the designated spot.  Just trying to finish up the details before the pre-season tech.

Both sides of the car, where the tech person, working the scales, can see them.
At NHMS he stands on the right side and usually at LRP they are on the left!

And I believe they need to be "readable from 10 feet".

There is no 10 foot standard or anything else objective. When this rule was passed it was decided to trust competitors to be reasonable. So far I have seen everything from 5” numbers on both side to a Dymo label tape on top of the driver’s side mirror. Just do what you think serves the purpose and standard practices will emerge.

From the 2012 GCR
Except for classes in which there is only 1 required minimum weight (i.e.,  ASR, FB, FC, FE, FF, FM, FS, FST, FV, SM5, SRF), all cars shall display the correct minimum weight specified in the current GCR in a manner that is clearly legible to the scrutineers at the scales. Cars that are run in more than one class must display the correct minimum weight for each class so that it is clear which weight applies to each class.

As a rule of thumb, I would use: "Don't piss off the tech inspectors" as your measurement................
