...look at it this way: here's your chance to focus and try to perform better than a number of seasoned drivers, stay clean but close, and NOT get a picture or a mention for an "ooops", but for a sterling drive.   Wink

There was definitely a pretty bad oops picture of my old 2.5i floating around from when I ran the Devens tour as a Novice in 08  Lips Sealed

Historically there is no novice class for the Tour, though it's been so long that I've forgotten if we extrapolated position for class points.
Yes, that's what we used to do. Always fun when the weather changed over the course of the day, and it was a lot of work.

Looks like we got a crazy Canadian in BS too!  You guys know Jeff Janzen at all?  He's a Canuck out of Minotoba, good friend of mine, super quick that runs a BS S2000.

Hey Nick,

I do know Jeff for sure, see him at Nationals last few years, he is  a buddy of JT Letkman from Winterpeg.
didnt see Jeffs name on the list , but an old buddy from the Maritimes is enter- good to see Ray again!!

Hi Guys,

I'm one of the canucks making the trip down from QC for this great event.

One quick question: I'm aware that you need an SCCA membership to participate in the event, but can a Week-end SCCA Membership be used?

Thanks

I didn't set up the tour registrations, but motorsportreg.com forms for SCCA all have an ability to include an extra cost to cover weekend membership.   You need to email the person listed as the contact on the national tour registration form about that because I don't see the tours set up to do weekend memberships.  It could be that they only accept full membership to enter. You need to ask the national office.

Probably worth mentioning too that all cars will need to have the SCCA Mandated Tour Decals applied.

Mazda RX-7 (1993-1995) is currently classed as ASP.

Thanks Barbara,

I got in touch with Deena Rowland @ SCCA and she confirmed the weekend membership would be accepted for the Northeast tour.
