Quite a few people wait until the last day to register, along with those who mail in their entry form usually don't end up on the list until after registration has closed.

That being said, last year this event did have a bit of a smaller turnout than usual.

I cannot go because of a schedule conflict.
As far as I know, Nikolay and Nikita are also out.

Hate to miss it, but life is life.

I'm a little bummed, as the site is in my neck of the woods, but it conflicts with the Ascutney Hill climb.

My bro and i haven't registered yet. Just lazyness i guess.

Anyone getting a hotel up there. Id like to sleep a little later since i'll be in boston that nite till wee hours of the morning for a friends bday. My bro and i are looking for a hotel fairly close and fairly cheap. Wouldn't mind hitting a bar up there the night before if anyone is down.

I too have not registered yet, but plan to before deadline.  Tim, if you are reading this and still need a ride due to rusty-VW-itis, the Neon is available for PF.  I have a bit of truck maintenance to do before Saturday, but I am 95% certain I will be making this event.

I was tempted to come up Friday night as well, but I may just make it a very early Saturday morning.  Still deciding.

To anybody looking for a hotel!!

I looked in the area and there is 1 place that every single review said to stay away!!!!

The only decent places you wont be sleeping with the roaches (that i found at least) are about 20 miles south of the site.  I will be staying at one since a, 3.5 hours tow - rallx - 3.5 hour tow back, is a little too much for me !!!!

as someone local to the area, I suggest getting a hotel in White river jct or West Lebanon NH(junction of 89 and 91. The ascutney hillclimb is that weekend, and therefore the ascutney state park campground is open for camping(and weather looks good), campground will be filled with racers only, so it's a good time. There is sure to be space available as the park doesn't officially open to the public until the following weekend.

Sachilles - Thanks for the town suggestions, I was at a loss for where to look when I checked last week.

Comfort Inn in White River Jct is $101 with SCCA discount
Hampton Inn in WRJ is $134 with AAA (or I could cash in some hotel points)

I think I may book one of these, 30 min tow the morning of is certainly better than 4hrs.

It's looking like a perfect rally weekend.  Conditions should be quite different than last year... at least I hope.

I havent driven the mighty Fox in a few weeks, might need to take it for a spin tonight to make sure it still moves.   Cheesy

Super 8 in White River Junction is $84/night and they have 40 rooms available for Friday night.  Its about 20 miles from the site.

Pre-registration closes tonight at midnight so don't slack!

25 entries as of this morning and I expect more with the usual last minute sign-ups.

The Fairgrounds will have their snack bar open for lunch. Usually burgers and such. If you're going to buy lunch anyway, giving them the business helps make it worthwhile for them to let us tear their lawn up.

Looks like the ECS performance/river valley rally team is cut down from 6 to 2 for this race... Let's see if the truck I bought makes it up there haha
