Hey guys, I have been missing from NER events for a little bit (some of you may still see me at BMWCCA), but I don't plan on missing the Tour. I will be entering in my BS AP1 S2000 with a fresh set of shaved Hankook RS-3s in the Road Tire class. I would like to find a co-driver for the event, preferably someone with a bit of street tire or S2000 experience. It's a really fun car on the RS3s, but it could use a second driver to make the most of the tires in a limited number of runs. If anyone's looking for a ride, please let me know.

Thanks,
Josh Brockman

Ooo ooo, can I drive with you?

Haha J/K.  Just wanted to say good luck my man.  Happy to see the AP1's still out there battling!  Car is a little better matched in RT trim.  Cheers and good luck!

Josh -

I may be interested in such an opportunity.  I've been running RTR all year in my MR2, but I don't have any S2000 experience (though I would really appreciate some since I am considering one as my next autox car).  I am currently registered in RTR, but my participation in the class is contingent upon it running early since I have a wedding to attend Saturday evening (I'll cherry pick a different class otherwise).  I'm not sure if we've met before.  I haven't run any BMWCCA events since 2010.

Any chance you will be at either of the Renegade Miata events this weekend?

We may have met. I have been doing the BMW events since 08 or so, I also have a blue E36 328i and I used to have a red STS Miata.

I would obviously prefer to co-drive with someone who can offer a firm commitment, but I am open to all offers! I'm sure you would fall in love with the S2k, it's a bit tricky at times but never boring.

I had a gray Evo (license plate: NERDY) and my red MR2 (second gen) back in 2010.

If you haven't found another co-drive by the time the run order is posted (Tuesday?) and it works with the stupid wedding conflict I have, I'd certainly be willing to discuss a co-drive opportunity.

Thanks,

Bryan, I still haven't found a co-driver, so if you are still interested please let me know, assuming it is still possible to change entries.

I am absolutely still interested.  Even more so because my MR2 is mysteriously broken right now Sad

I can change my entry the day-of at registration.

I'm in for the co-drive as long as RTR does not run last heat of the day.
