For those of you who haven't already seen, there have been some significant changes to the Toledo Pro schedule (ref link below) in order to accommodate more people given the overwhelming demand for the event.  They have already let in the 80ish people sitting on the wait list and may be able to take more.  The news blurb doesn't address what they will do about any new registrations that come in, but if you were discouraged earlier given the extraordinarily quick sellout you may have another chance to register now.

Happy that I got in off the waitlist, but maybe a bit disappointed that the event is going to be drawn out an extra day because of it.

Totally bogus.

The likelihood of getting an extra day off at this short notice is barely above zero.   Pulling a stunt like this a few weeks before the event is irresponsible - and unfair to those people who bothered get up at midnight just to register.

Pros are always fully booked in advance - what's so different about this one ?

Do you need to be there Thursday?  The way I'm reading it is you can still show up and compete Saturday morning, and it could theoretically be an advantage if it rains on Friday.

From the discussion on various forums, there is absolutely no advantage to showing up on Thursday. No course walks, no practice starts, no Evo School....

That being said, I think it's monstrously unfair to those of us that registered on time, and had travel plans, time off, and hotel arrangements already made.

Make 100 people happy, or piss 250 off.

You can't rationalize cars like these. They're not something you buy with your head - you buy them with your heart, because you love them. And who can explain love?

Yep, no advantage to showing up on Thursday. If you weren't planning on getting there until Friday morning some time, then your plans are not affected. Speaking of which, when is everyone leaving? With no a/c in the ITR, I wouldn't mind riding with someone else. I plan on leaving Thursday after work.

Nate, shoot me a call or text or FB message.  There's likely to be a Nissan of your choosing to ride in.
