To be clear, camping is allowed at NHMS. The Lakes Region Casino (Dog Track) does NOT allow camping in their lot.

Tentatively registered the Fox in SF, but afterward did the research to find that Matt hasn't campaigned it at the Dog Track; what with its reputation (and having seen it firsthand) and no other competition in the class, not to mention the distraction of Club Racing down the road, I may end up withdrawing from this one. Haven't arranged to run the road rally (bad speedometer), solo, and/or DoubleCross either (prospective car share was snatched up), but if I just volunteer I can still do a bit of driving around the track on Saturday afternoon for Leukemia Research, and get some nice dinner!

You will have fun. It's not as bad as people make it out to be, especially not with something like the Fox. My Sentra held up just fine both times I ran it there last year. The Fox has enough ground clearance that you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Although I also didn't have such a long trip home to worry about!

I mostly never ran the dog track because of schedule issues, but it didnt hurt my feelings that i didnt have to run over baby heads either.

Well. I had the registration form up last night was about to fill it out and then I fell asleep. Really exited though, I will now be in a Classic 900 Turbo instead of the NG 900.
