Just want to pass along a message from Mark's son Kirk that Mark is not well and would appreciate hearing from old friends.  Perhaps the easiest way to reach him is through his son:  kirk@rerick.com

Mark filled many roles in the region - on the rally board and the Board  of Directors.  He competed with great success in TSD rallies and the rally he organized:  The Great Pumpkin - won national recognition..

After a long hiatus,  the rally ran again between 1999 and 2001.  I ran one of those years - with my niece.  Warped the rotors on the Honda (I do NOT do CAST 29 well), figured out only one of the traps,  found the pumpkin once - but we were not DFL.

Dear Old Rally Friends of Mark,

 

I want to thank you for your kind words for my Father. I’m reading the emails as they come in to my father at the Hospital.

 

My family learned of my father’s failing health in mid November when he was rushed to the hospital.

He is getting regular treatments of dialysis.

 

As of today Sunday February 8th, my father is at Rhode Island Hospital.

You can call the hospital for his conditional any time at 401.444.4000.

They will ring his room, but mostly he doesn’t answer the phone.

He’s in the Jane Brown Unit, third floor, room 320. His room numbers changes, so you might have to check with the nurses’ station.
