The Hurdle Rally is a Game-Tour-Adventure (GTA) Rally.  After a short odometer check, contestants will receive a map of Connecticut and a list of questions.  The objective is to answer as many questions as possible in the least amount of miles.

Hurdle 2021 will be run in compliance with the 2019 NER/SCCA Road Rally Regulations, as amended.  Hurdle 2021 is sanctioned by the SCCA as a National GTA and NER/SCCA as a Special Event.

Teams are limited to two adults (over age 16) per vehicle.  One additional adult (over age 16) may allowed at the discretion of the organizers (please contact event organizers at jon.lamkins@cox.net for approval and limitations).  No limit to children (under age 16) but the total number of contestants per vehicle cannot exceed the number of seat belts available in the vehicle.

In light of the current COVID-19 situation, every attempt will be made to minimize the risks of exposure to the virus. New processes and procedures are being developed and will be put into place for events going forward.

Ultimately, it is your responsibility to assess the risk to you and to make the decision on whether or not to participate. If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath please stay home. If you have been in contact with someone who has been experiencing these symptoms in the last two weeks, please stay home.

Connecticut has relaxed mask rules .  Vaccinated individuals do not need to wear a mask, however, business and locations you encounter on this event may.  Please have a mask and hand sanitizer available, practice social distancing, wear a mask, and follow rules and recommendations posted at locations and businesses that you visit. (contestants must provide their own masks and hand sanitizer)
