Frost Heave Road Rally

Frost Heaves will be a straight-forward Time-Speed-Distance rally of approximately 140 miles. A tulip diagram format will be used for the route instructions! This rally is well suited for inexperienced as well as veteran rallyists. Frost Heave will start in Laconia, New Hampshire and wind its way over scenic central New Hampshire back roads to finish in Tilton. Paved and unpaved roads are utilized. Hopefully you won’t know the difference. The rally is hosted by the New England Region of the Sports Car Club of America (NER/SCCA).

General: Frost Heave will be run in compliance with the 2007 NER-SCCA Rally Regulations. These are available on www.ner.org . General Instructions will be posted on the NER website.

Pre-register: By mail, form below and on website. Discount for early registration.

Registration: Saturday, March 14, 7:00AM-8:45AM at The Landmark Inn, Laconia, NH.

Novice School: 8:00-9:30PM Friday night, at The Landmark Inn. You must make arrangements with the rallymaster if you plan on attending. I won’t be there unless people have contacted me to do the class.

Lodging: The Landmark Inn, Laconia, NH. Take exit 20 off I-93, onto Rt. 3 North for approx 8 miles. Shortly
after Dunkin Donuts and Shaws, continue straight at the Jct of 3 North and 11 East for 1.15 miles. Turn left at “Laconia Pottery” on Rowe Ct., then right to the inn. Continental breakfast included with lodging. There is a block of rooms reserved at a discounted rate of $74.99 double occupancy. Call 603-524-8000 and mention the “SCCA Group” to receive the discounted rates.

Start: The Landmark Inn, downtown Laconia, NH. First car off at 9:00 AM plus car number in minutes.

Lunch: On your own at TBD. Approx. 12:30 PM.

Finish: The Ninety-nine, Tilton, NH. Approx. 4:00 PM, awards ASAP.
