Big Lap 16 RoadRally

Big Lap will be a straight-forward Time-Speed-Distance rally of approximately 130 miles. A tulip diagram format will be used for the route instructions! This rally is well suited for inexperienced as well as veteran rallyists. Big Lap will start in Keene, New Hampshire and wind its way over scenic and historic western New Hampshire back roads and then finish back in Keene. Paved and unpaved roads are utilized. The rally is hosted by the New England Region of the Sports Car Club of America (NER/SCCA).

General: Big Lap will be run in compliance with the 2007 NER-SCCA Rally Regulations (amended 2010). These are available on www.ner.org .

Registration: Pre-registration by mail is very helpful.
Saturday, June 16, 7:00AM-8:30AM behind McDonalds, 317 Winchester St, Keene, NH.
Novice School: 8:00PM Friday night (6/15) at location TBD. This will only be held by prior arrangement with rallymaster.

Lodging: The Days Inn, 3 Ash Brook Rd, Keene, NH 03431 (603) 352-9780 is holding a block of rooms until May 31st at $89 per room. Ask for “Big Lap Rally” room rate. There are also Holiday Inn Express, and Best Western within a mile of the start.

Start: NOTE THE CHANGE… Applebee’s parking lot. 40 Key Rd, Keene. First car off at 9:00 AM plus car number in minutes.
Lunch: On your own at one of a variety of establishments in Claremont.
Finish: TBD, Keene. Approx. 4:00 PM, awards ASAP.

Classes: A= Equipped S = Stock N = Novice Also, a “Dirty Impreza” class will be included if 5 or more teams pre-register in the DI class. Check that class as well as the regular class if you’re running a Dirty Impreza.
