Wolf Chase RallyX
The final event of the New England Region, SCCA’s 2006 New England RallyCross Championship will again be held at Robert’s Horse Farm in Ascutney. 2006 is the second year that the cars of the RallyCross have come to play in the large open pastures of the farm.
SCCA RallyCross program allows cars of many different makes and preparation levels to compete in a safe environment over a course defined by traffic cones. This is very similar to those events you see in large paved parking lots, except the lot is unpaved. In the case of the Robert’s Farm an active pasture.
The vehicles are separated into classes of 2 or 4 wheel drive; Modified, prepared or stock, giving everyone a fair chance. Unlike their paved brothers, RallyCross counts every run into the total. Each vehicle will under go a safety inspection and the drivers are required to wear helmets.
The Wolf Chase RallyCross will start with Registration at 7:30am; Inspection at 8am, and drivers meeting at 8:45am. Runs will start at 9am and run until about 3pm with a short lunch break to adjust the course.
The Roberts Farm is located on Route 5 in Ascutney, VT – Exit 8 off I-91 [Route 131]; East on Rt. 131 to Route 5 [Traffic Light]; 1.2 miles North on Rt5 to farm entrance [just north of junction of routes 5 & 44]
