Terryville Fairgrounds Rallycross

Another one is in the books. 51 competitors took to the fields at the Terryville Lions Club fairgrounds in Terryville, CT for the 6th round of the 2009 NER Rallycross Championship.

A light rain overnight and early in the morning made for a dust free field and the course held up well in the morning. We were able to complete 4 runs for each run group before breaking for lunch at Noon. The Lions Club opened their concession stand for some hamburgers, hot dogs, and kielbasa while the afternoon course was prepared. Although the afternoon sessions had a few more course changes and tweaks as things dried out and the surface rutted up more, we still pulled off another 4 runs per group bringing the total for both to 8 for the day.
