Event Day Timeline
- 7:00am: Gate opens at Devens
- Arrive on the site as early as possible so you have time to prepare for your day. Access to the Devens site begins at 7:00am. Access to New Hampshire Motor Speedway begins at 7:30am.
- Registration Check-in at the gate. This includes signing waivers, receiving wrist bands,
and verifying your pre-registration before proceeding to park, unload, and preparing for tech inspection.

- 7:15am - 8:45am: Tech Check
- Tech - The tech line of cars will begin forming between 7:15am and is available until 8:45am SHARP.
- 8:00am - 9:00am: Grid your car and walk the course
- Grid assignments will be available in the "welcome" e-mail sent before the event and will be posted on the truck. We ask that you grid your car before the drivers meeting in order to allow us to start the event on time!
Walk course: The course will normally be open by 8:00am and the “Course closed to walking” sign will go up at 8:45am. This will allow up to 3 walks before the drivers meeting if you move quickly.
- The course changes at every event.
- There are no "orientation drive through" runs.
- Chalk arrows are marked on the pavement to indicate which way to go if there is a question. Note: these arrows can only be seen when walking the course - they will not be visible when you are driving.
- You cannot walk the course too often. If you can't "see" the course with your eyes closed, walk it again.
- 8:40am: Novice ‘walk through’:
- An experienced instructor will lead a walk through of the course leaving from the start line at 8:40am SHARP. All novices are strongly encouraged to attend the walk-through.
- 9:05am: Mandatory Drivers' Meeting:
- Driver's meeting begins at 9:05am at the timing truck.
- Attendance is mandatory for everyone on site, not just drivers.
- Tech is closed during the driver's meeting.
- Special information concerning the event is discussed during the meeting.
- Last minute changes to run order and work assignments will be announced during the driver's meeting.
- A 5 minute novice meeting will follow immediately after the regular drivers meeting to review red flag procedures, the cone rule, radio protocol, etc.
- 9:15am: To your cars and work assignments!
- Please come to the drivers meeting prepared to go directly to your work assignment or car in the grid. It is critical to starting the event on time!
- 9:30am: First Car Off the Line
- All workers must be in position and the first car will take off from the start line by 9:30am.
The exact schedule from then on will depend on the number of competitors and the number of heats.
- Lunch Break
- Time for lunch is dependent on a number of factors that are hard to predict for a given event. Please bring food and water to the event and be prepared to stay on site all day. If there is time for a formal lunch break there will be an announcement at the end of the morning runs.
- Trophy Ceremony
- Trophies will be awarded to the top third of every class of competition directly following the completion of packing the timing and equipment truck.
There are No Allowances for late registration or late technical inspection. There are No Exceptions.
