I offer the following snippets - each my own narrow view - for your dining and dancing pleasure. They are part of my memory of the Devens NT, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Classic summer weather welcomed the 118 competitors to Devens for the fifth points event of the season - humid, hot, and unpredictable.
I'm looking for volunteers that are interested in learning the art of Sound Control.
The idea is to train some members that could be available as back up.
The opener for NER was at Devens, on the airfield. A better than usual kickoff for us, as the temperature was a balmy 42 degrees, and the intermittent rain only frustrated the first two heats.
NER Solo Event #2 at NHMS began wet, ended dry, and hinted at what lies ahead for the '08 season up here in Yankee land.
I'm sure I'm not alone in my final vehicle preparations for the next season. I've reached crunch time and the cold weather, I'll admit, has gotten the best of me more than I'd like to admit.
